To Our Congress

You took an oath to uphold the Constitution of the United States. I firmly believe that we are in a constitutional crisis now. Our executive branch is in meltdown. It is now clear to anyone with eyes and ears that the president is guilty of multiple crimes, including obstruction of justice. It is time for you to forget about party, remember your country and do your job under the constitution to be a check on the insanity coming out of the white house.

Please look at the highly inappropriate speech to the boy scouts, the childish twitter tantrums and the interviews complete with word salad and very few actual sentences. It’s very sad to say, but it’s obvious that the man is having serious mental problems and most certainly is NOT capable of leading this country. He is literally threatening Senators for doing their job, bullying the AG for following the law and paranoia has him seeing enemies everywhere he looks. He does not seem aware that Hillary is no longer his opponent, that Obama is not a threat to him or that his own acting FBI chief is not conspiring against him. He is stuck on election night, reliving it to anyone who will listen. He has become that crazy old uncle that many of us know well in our families.

We have known since the beginning that he has narcissistic tendencies and a very dubious relationship with the truth. But the stress of the investigation into Russian meddling getting closer daily to the truth has finally pushed him over the edge. There is something in his tax returns that I believe he will do anything to keep from coming to light.

If you are a republican, you know that you have been looking the other way until now for partisan reasons, but that time has to come to an end. The 25th amendment should be invoked immediately. Or there are ample reasons to begin the impeachment process. Emoluments infractions, obstruction of justice, divulging classified information to our enemies and I am sure that Mr Mueller has by now proof of his collusion with Russia.

If a person with paranoid delusions feels cornered there is no telling how far they would go. For this person to have the nuclear codes is a nightmare beyond our wildest imaginations. Please stop ignoring the constitutional crisis we are now in and DO something about it. The country and the world is depending on you.
