what is journalism?

what is journalism? to me journalism can’t be described in one word not even a sentence.journalism is an art, just like how a painting portrays the feeling of it’s painter and singing reveals the feelings of the singer. writing, images, editing and several more come together to cast a spell that will lure the audience and that is journalism. journalism is the art of speaking through soul where the reader can intercept the writers thoughts see the photographer affection and observe the editors inspiration. However when journalism is used in haste it becomes an incomplete art where one can not perceive the real emotions behind the author and is then exposed to the whirl of lies and defraud where neither the audience nor the author comprehend one another because in the end of the day journalism is about the passion,eagerness and appreciation that both the audience and the author share together.
