Take Me On A Drive

A Short Story !

Since the winter has started to show its true colors (the fog), which is resulting in delays to the transportation modes of the country. The worst hit, most of the times, is the mode that is most popular — The Railways.

Sharing this short story, though, this was not during winters, but I shall remember this always.

“ Gunti, where are you ? I have been waiting for two hours, we had plans, we were supposed to go out for a drive remember, explore The Aravallis, click some pictures, then have some Chai and, also, you promised to cook … kuch yaad bhi hai ? ”.

Yes, Yes … I remember. You know what, I got this amazing vehicle for the drive. It’s a twin-seat, big 6000 horsepower machine. It’s a beast, like literally.

“Wow, that sounds exciting”.

You know what, I will send you the picture. That should make you happy… Really Happy !

Kaisi hai Gaadi?

“ Guntiiiiiiii …Chappal ya Joota … Tu Choose Kar. Ab Aa Tu… Bachega Nahi ”.

Arey meri baat sunn.
The train got delayed na , won’t be able to make it on time.
But I will make up for the messing up plan. Pakka !

I was supposed to reach in the evening, but I rang the doorbell, the next morning.

“ Chai ?”, She asked.

Yes Please. Can you make it kadak ?

“ Jaake Bana le Phir ”.

Did you know, waise, Gunti makes his own Chai.
(Trying to defend the punch that came in.)

“ Haan toh phir mere liye bhi bana na, you know how much I love Gunti-ki-Chai”.

Sure !
