Bootcamp challenges and how I have adapted in the last few weeks

Software engineering is a field that is filled with different challenges, and in order to be successful in it, you need to be the kind of a person who learns quickly and adapts to different situations that s/he faces in it. In fact, adaptability is the quality of being able to adjust to new conditions that come in the way.

Over the past days, I have had to adapt to the challenges that we were working on as well as the structure of the Bootcamp. Mainly, I had to adapt because I faced different new things, and as a person with little experience in programming, I had to try my best so that I can complete everything I had to do in the set period of time.

In the Bootcamp, I had to adapt to self-learning, time management, sacrifice, project management, git workflow, etc, and actually, I haven’t worked hard as I did in this Bootcamp. And, this is because of many tasks that have to be performed well in a limited time. Before the Bootcamp, I didn’t think it would be intensive as I saw, but after the first day, I found that it was not going to be easy and I had to adapt myself to those conditions.

Before attending the Bootcamp, I haven’t used pivotal tracker or any other project management tool while developing any product. So, as I was required to use it, I had to adapt to it and know how it really works, and I came to find it more helpful in everything I did. With git workflow, I have learned a lot. I also haven’t used it before. I could just push without following the best practices, but in this Bootcamp, I was able to adapt to it and make sure that I follow those best practices.

All in all, I have learned a lot of things in this Bootcamp including tobe a quick learner, using time wisely and make sure that I complete many tasks in a short time possible. And, I hope that those skills will help me to advance and perform well in my career of passion.
