Daily Life With Family

Before the years of 1990, people in society used the word Family Culture as a means to keep life traditional and to not change views about their life and society. But since then in the years of 2000, family culture started to change and those traditional values began to disappear and new ideas began to rise in the premise of change. For example, family cultures around the world like religion, art, music and even food based within these peoples culture begin to change and differ than traditional values. However, this type of change in family culture can bring conflict upon the family and the community. I come from a family that is set in stone core traditional values, but I am to modernize core values that are continually changing threw out the years. This thought gives a brief example of conflict of change within ones culture because if you try to change someone's culture against there wishes then it will bring conflict.

My family's culture differs than other family's values and ideas, because the ways our parents were taught by their parents on the values and ideas of the world and society. Same can be said about other families and their cultural backgrounds they hold traditional, because my family is “catholic” and another family may be “Islamic” because religion can play a role of how both my family and a friends family have different values and thoughts on topics. But this is one of many categories of topics and subjects that can influence family culture. This is suppose to help understand that family culture can be affected by multiple subjects relating to the family's background

Because of the change in family culture, families began to change their values because the values they held before got old and they adopted new ones to follow. For example, Music, art and even food change a family's view on their values. The principal objective of this series is to give insight to how the way our family's culture can change by the way of religion, food, music, or even art can play a role to change some core values of culture. This project consists of 8 photos I have taken at my home of the things that change or even influence my family's culture in the present world today. Each picture is accompanied by a short Text to help explain why this item change my family's culture and continues to this day change my family's view on culture including our own.
